Green Clubcard Points

Tesco are making it easier for you to be a little greener and collect Clubcard Points too. You can earn Green Clubcard Points by shopping in store and recycling. For every mobile phone that turns on you will receive 500 Green Clubcard Points, or you can choose to make a €5 donation to The Irish Cancer Society. For every qualifying inkjet cartridge you recycle you will receive 100 Green Clubcard points, alternatively you can choose to make a €1 donation to The Irish Cancer Society. Support The Irish Cancer Society - Tesco Charity of the Year

Staff at Tesco Ireland have chosen the Irish Cancer Society as their nominated Charity of the Year for 2010 and 2011. The Irish Cancer Society is the national charity for cancer care and its mission is to play a vital role in achieving world -class cancer services in Ireland, to ensure fewer people get cancer and those that do have better outcomes. The Society’s goals are cancer prevention, early detection and fighting cancer with three programme areas to achieve them; advocacy, cancer services and research.

Through the partnership with Tesco Ireland, the Irish Cancer Society will bring its Care to Drive programme to a national level transporting patients to and from cancer treatment across Ireland.

Please Note: We recycle all mobile phones however we only recycle HP, Canon, Lexmark and Dell cartridges. Any other cartridges will raise no funds for your chosen charity.
