Recycling Appeal Start Date: October 2011
Registered Charity No: CHY1047

The Dublin SPCA is Ireland’s oldest and largest animal charity. Founded in 1840 it has been helping sick, injured and cruelly treated animals in Dublin City, County and surrounding areas. We work with local communities, organisations and the Irish Government to make a lasting change in the lives of animals in Ireland through our subsidised mobile veterinary clinics, community outreach programmes and other animal related services.

Through our Educational outreach programmes we teach empathy and an understanding about the needs of animals. The Dublin SPCA strongly believes that education is the key to ending animal cruelty in Ireland.

The Society is best known for its animal ambulance drivers and cruelty inspectors who rescue sick, injured and cruelly treated animals. Also working for the animals cause are the team of Vets, Vet nurses, animal care and rehoming staff who ensure the good health and wellbeing of the animal who visit our rescue centre.

The Dublin SPCA relies on donations of money and goods to keep up the important work it does and by donating your old phones, CDs, and used computer ink cartridges we will be able to look after even more of these animals.
